Element Aerospace has just returned from an inspiring and productive week at Aerial Cities 2025 in Dublin, where global leaders in urban air mobility, drone operations, vertiport infrastructure, and emerging aviation technologies gathered to shape the future of city skies. Throughout the event, our team engaged in valuable discussions about advancing drone and UAM services from isolated trials to scalable, everyday operations, emphasizing the importance of robust U-space/UTM systems, harmonized procedures, and data-driven safety planning. We also contributed to conversations on the rapid evolution of vertiport development, including optimal siting, multimodal integration, modular infrastructure design, energy and charging solutions, and community-focused considerations such as noise and visual impact, all essential to enabling the next generation of eVTOL services.
Beyond operations and infrastructure, the conference highlighted key technologies that will define tomorrow's urban air ecosystem: real-time, AI-supported airspace management; resilient digital platforms for fleet and vertiport coordination; secure communication networks; and human-centered tools to ensure that aerial mobility aligns with privacy, safety, and public acceptance.
Our time in Dublin underscored the accelerating global momentum behind advanced aerial mobility, and we return energized by the partnerships, insights, and innovations that will guide our work as we help build safe, sustainable, and seamlessly integrated aerial solutions for modern cities.
We can't wait to see the future!
